NEW TEMPLATE PORTALCYCLING [BASE] + FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
This template combines base training for cycling with metcon-style strength training. This can either be used for a recreational cyclist who wants to maintain some structure while continuing to build fitness, using cross training for general physical capacity (ride faster than your friends but also be more jacked than them); OR, a cyclist aiming for racing who is in their pre-season building phase before starting a targeted training block for their key events. If you are aiming to do your first event where the goal is finishing with your best possible time, such as a gravel race, gran fondo, mtb marathon, or just be ready for hard group rides during the summer, then this will give you a great build up to the event!Ā
- 12 weeks of training
- V3 Template: Adjustable volume (moderate, high, very high), fatigue monitoring that automatically adjusts for best possible recovery
- Select between RPE and Power for cycling programming
- Cycle, olympic lift, perform metcons, get good
